Sales Manager

About the role

Description Build the sales engine of a company that’s defining a new category. You’ll lead our new business team and report directly to the CEO. Your job is to turn a strong group of Account Executives, SDRs and Pre-Sales Engineers into a growth engine we can predict. You won’t carry a personal quota: your number is the team’s number. Why this role Real ownership. The new business target, the pipeline and the forecast are yours, and so is the team that delivers them. A seat at the table. You report straight to the CEO and help shape the plans, not just carry them out. A product built for the AI moment. You’ll sell analytics that work inside apps, Slack, ChatGPT, Claude and AI agents. Room to experiment. Try outbound automation, multi-threading, ABM or whatever comes next. If it works, you scale it. About Luzmo Luzmo is embedded AI analytics that shows up wherever your users work. We help companies whose product is their data put governed, white-labeled AI analytics in front of their own customers: branded dashboards, self-service analytics, AI analytics chatbots, workflow analytics and white-labeled MCP. Customers build it once and it works everywhere: in the product, in Slack or email, in ChatGPT and Claude, and in AI agents. Software teams choose us for three reasons. They go live in weeks instead of months. They keep full control over branding, security and governance. And they never get locked into one tool or one LLM. We’re headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, and serve customers across Europe and North America. What you’ll own The number. Your team’s new business target, met or beaten, with results visible to everyone. The forecast. Commit, best case and pipeline called accurately every month and quarter, with slippage flagged early. The pipeline. Everything from SQL to close, with at least 3× coverage. The SDR team. Turning Marketing’s ICP lists into SQLs, owning SDR performance, and building a clear path from SDR to AE. The hard deals. Bringing strategy to complex or stalled deals, coaching objection handling, and knowing when to step in yourself. The process. One sales methodology, rigorous qualification and a CRM the team can trust. Pricing discipline. Governing discounts and negotiating on value, not price. Sales × Marketing. Running the regular rhythm with our VP Growth: a shared SLA and structured MQL feedback. The team. Hiring strong people, getting them productive in 60–90 days, and giving everyone clear goals, honest feedback and a growth path. You’ll do all of this the way we sell, with data, tracking performance on Luzmo’s own platform. Requirements You’ll thrive here if you Have 5–10 years in B2B software sales, including a proven track record as a Sales Manager or Team Lead Have led AEs and SDRs through a structured methodology such as SPICED or MEDDICC Get more energy from a rep’s breakthrough than from your own close Manage by data, not anecdotes, and forecast with discipline Are comfortable negotiating and holding the line on pricing Speak and write excellent English Like the pace of a scale-up, uncertainty included Live in Europe and can visit our Leuven HQ regularly Bonus points if you’ve sold data, analytics or developer products, or know HubSpot and modern sales tools, including AI tools. How we work We trust people. Many of us work remotely, nobody micromanages, and results speak for themselves. We’re an international, distributed team that is direct but kind and skips meetings that don’t need to happen. As the challenger to well-known names in a maturing market, we decide fast, own our work and use AI everywhere to punch above our weight. What you get A competitive salary Unlimited holiday Healthcare coverage International team get-togethers All the equipment, software and tools you need Ready? Don’t tick every box? Apply anyway. No job description is perfect, and we may have another role that fits your skills and ambitions.
